About Us
Serving the Mohawk Valley Since 1994
The Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley (MCAMV), also known as Utica Masjid, is a vibrant, multi-ethnic Muslim community organization serving Utica, New York, and the surrounding Mohawk Valley.
Since 1994, our organization has brought people together through worship, Islamic education, charitable service, and community engagement.
Our Mission
The Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley is dedicated to serving the local community through religious, educational, and charitable endeavors.
We strive to provide a welcoming environment where Muslims of diverse backgrounds can practice their faith, strengthen their knowledge of Islam, and participate in meaningful community service.
Our mission extends beyond the walls of the masjid as we work to support our neighbors and contribute to a stronger, more connected Mohawk Valley.
Our History
Serving Our Community Since 1994
The Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley has served the greater Utica area since 1994.
Over the years, Utica Masjid has become a gathering place for Muslims from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, providing opportunities for prayer, education, fellowship, and charitable activities.
As our community continues to grow, we remain committed to preserving our Islamic values while meeting the evolving needs of families and individuals throughout the Mohawk Valley.
What We Do

Through food assistance, charitable giving, health initiatives, and community outreach, we work to support individuals and families throughout the Mohawk Valley.
Family & Community Support
Utica Masjid provides resources and guidance for important family occasions, including Nikah services and funeral assistance.
